Welcome, Mr. Bollers. And don't take what everyone says >on this list too much to heart... a lot of time it's just venting >in exasperation. :) Thanks, Bob. And please, call me KB... I'm actually a very good sport about the list. I think it's great to see how much people care for Sonic. I believe it's this passion for the 'hog that can oftentimes cause them to be harsh or just downright rude, but c'mon... I know I'm in the hotseat. I can remember being a fan and having the same amount of passion for my particular interests. I freely admit that Nate Morgan has turned into a walking plot device. About a year ago, I confided in Ron that Nate was one of my least favorite characters in the book, and perhaps because of that, I haven't used him to the best of my ability :( ..I definitely have plans for the ol' geezer now. The original plan I had for him (but never seemed to get to) won't be implemented, much to my chagrin. RDB note: pity, because it was a doozy (and that's all I'll say about it, sorry...) There are a lot of characters competing for space in the 16 pages alloted to me every month, and I can't get to them all unfortunately. Originally after #75, I was supposed to be doing 8-page back-up stories where I'd focus on the supporting characters, but with KNUCKLES cancellation, it never came to pass :( Nate's purpose will be revealed over the course of the issues leading up to #100, and it only remains to be seen what fan reaction will be.
